Ms. Branham would like to congratulate all the dance students on their performances this past Thursday and Friday evening. Way to go students, you all did a phenomenal job!
Latta High had several amazing artists enter their work into the South Eastern Agricultural Fair. Many received ribbons and some were even awarded money for their talents.

JV boys’ basketball tryouts will be today at the elementary school at 6:00. Varsity boys’ basketball tryouts will be today at the high school at 6:00.
Auditions for Viking Theatre Workshop’s Spring Musical, Oklahoma, will be today, November 17th- Wednesday, November 19th after school from 3:45-5:00 in Mrs. Roberts’ room. You only have to attend one day of auditions to be considered for a role. Please see your Class of page for additional information or see Mrs. Roberts or Mrs. Williamson with any questions.
The Interact Club will have a meeting this Wednesday during IPASS in Mrs. Bryson’s room. Everyone is invited to attend!
All interested in being in the Black History Program, please meet after school Wednesday until about 4:20 in Mrs. Davis’ room.
The LHS concert band will perform their winter concert on Thursday, November 20th at 6:30 pm in the EPAC. We will feature the selections Freedom's Light, Purple Mountain Majesty, Reverberations, and All I Want for Christmas is You, as well as some performances from our region band auditions. Doors will open at 6:00, and admission is $5 per person. We hope to see you there!
FCA is housing a Thanksgiving Food drive from now until Friday, November 21st. They are collecting non-perishable foods for a local food pantry. Please take any donations to your first block class. For every five items you donate, you’ll get one ticket entered into a raffle for a free FCA t-shirt. For ideas on what to donate, check the flyers posted on each hallway.
To all 10th graders that are not taking Honors Courses at this time, please log into Google Classroom and go to the Class of 2028 classroom. Read the assignment posted by Coach Short to get the information needed to sign up for an IGP Meeting to schedule your upcoming classes. Remember to select a time that is convenient for your parent or guardian because a parent or guardian must be present in person or via phone for the IGP meeting. 10th grade students that are currently taking Honors Courses, you will be contacted about your IGPs at a later date. If you have any questions, please see Coach Short.
Attendance Recovery will be every week in room 105 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30-4:30. You have to report to room 105 to get credit for Attendance Recovery. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Roberson.
Attention students: If you drive and have not registered your car, you need to do so. Remember if you owe a fee, it needs to be paid before you can purchase a parking permit.
