The Academic Challenge Team has a Regional Tournament at FMU on tomorrow, March 7th.
Attendance recovery will start back Tuesday, March 10th in Mrs. Bryson’s room.
The Miss Viking Pageant will be held on Saturday, March 14th. If you have any questions, see Ms. Branham.
Prom will be Friday, April 3rd at Woodhaven in Marion, SC. Time: 7:30pm until 11:30pm. The theme for the Prom is Magical Masquerade. Cost is $40 per ticket until Wednesday, March 25th. Beginning Thursday, March 26th, the price per ticket will increase to $50. Tickets will be sold until Wednesday, April 1st.
Prom tickets can be purchased from Mrs. Grissett starting Monday, March 9th in the front office. All fees must be paid before tickets can be purchased. Only Juniors and Seniors can purchase tickets!
If you would like to run for Prom King & Queen, a sign-up sheet will be located in the front office Monday, March 9th. To be eligible to run all fees must be paid and no OSS.
Out-of-District Date/Guest forms may be pickup from the front office. Please read the form because there is a deadline on it. No middle schooler or anyone over the age of 20 will not be able to attend the prom.
The prom closet is now open. We have several additions this year and some new with tags. If you would like to come look through the gowns or try one on, please see Nurse Mace.
Students who are interested in trying out for cheerleading need to plan to attend a mandatory parent meeting on March 26th at 6:15 in the LHS commons. Try outs will be held the week of April 13th. Multi-athletes contact Peyton Walsh or Sarah Duprel about scheduling.
Reminder to any girl wanting to play volleyball next year, we are having conditioning every Tuesday in March directly after school until 4:45. Please come put in some work with us! You must have a physical on file to participate and not currently on a team.
Yearbooks are still on sale.
This is a friendly reminder that Cell Phones/Electronic Devices must be kept in student's purse, book bag, or in the cell phone caddy located in the classroom at all times. Cell phones should not be in your pocket at any time.
