April 1st, 2026
Prom is Friday, April 3rd at Woodhaven in Marion, SC. Time: 7:30pm until 11:30pm. The theme for the Prom is Magical Masquerade.
As a reminder: Those students bringing an Out-of-District guest, please remind your guest to bring photo ID.
Prom tickets can be picked up at lunch today!
Prom King/Queen jars will be placed in the commons. The one that raises the most money will be named your 2026 LHS Prom King/Queen. Get your money ready to support your favorite Viking!
There is a prom duty list located near the sign-in sheets. All faculty/staff need to arrive at Woodhaven by 7pm on Friday, April 3rd. Please sign up for a scheduled duty time.
There will be a powderpuff football game on April 16th during 4th block. Girls are needed to play and boys are needed to cheer. All permission slips can be picked up in Mrs. Bryson’s room and are due back this Thursday. Tickets for the game will be sold the Monday – Wednesday of the week we get back from Spring Break. The cost is $5 and concessions will be sold during the game. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Bryson.
The Viking Poetry Slam will be held on April 21st at 6:00 in the EPAC. Please see one of the English teachers for more information.

Cheerleading try-outs will be held the week of April 13th. Multi-athletes contact Peyton Walsh or Sarah Duprel about scheduling.
Military Academy Day is coming up! If you are interested in attending the event, it is on April 18, 2026. While there you can explore opportunities and see how you can attend a military academy for college. Please go to your Google Class Of to see the sign up flyer.
